The time has come! On July 10th, HIGH FIRE MUSIC will release Fetsum’s 3rd new single ‚AIR’. The release will be celebrated at a very special location in Berlin (see details below). We invite you to join FETSUM on July 10th to celebrate the debut of his ,Air’ single and witness new unreleased tracks during his live show set. FETSUM’s release celebration doesn’t stop in Berlin. High Fire Music will also hold two back-to-back release parties for ,Air’ in Rome on July 16th and 17th.
What is this third song off of the musical anthology ‚Colors Of Hope’ about? EASE – breathe and be air! It is about devoting ones energy to the things that really matter, helping to break barriers and paving the way to the future. With ‚AIR’ FETSUM once again expresses through his music what we feel.

After a successful tour throughout Germany with Cassandra Steen, FETSUM played yet another gig alongside US talent K’NAAN at the infamous event series LiveDEMO in Berlin, Germany. Utilizing the energy from the road FETSUM now turns back to his own project: Colors of Hope.
‚EMOTIONAL ANDROID’ is the second single of the ‚Colors Of Hope’ anthology presented by High Fire Music and is available on June 5th at the major online shops. The project ‚Colors Of Hope’ consists of twelve songs, which will be released over the course of an entire year, one single each month. The anthology speaks of HOPE – in all its variety and colorful splendour. FETSUM wants to encourage people to embrace life with all its ups and downs and not to lose faith along the way.
FETSUM’s first single ‚Meet You In Paradise’ and the live concerts supporting Cassandra Steen and K’NAAN made headlines and we are expecting the new single ‚Emotional Android’ to cause quite a stir. Not only because it is a beautiful and intelligent song but also because its lyrics could not fit in our time more perfectly. Singer-Songwriter FETSUM wrote this song long before the financial crisis, but his sharpness showcases how greed will lead to destruction.
Not for nothing is FETSUM’s anthology called ‚Colors Of Hope’. Over the course of the next 10 months, FETSUM will deliver his life philosophy song by song with the help of his beautiful voice: „Where there is light, there is hope“!

Fetsum is dropping his first single ‘Meet you in Paradise’ May 1st, 2009. The video for ‘Meet you in Paradise’ is featured on the German MYSPACE start page and is up on www.myvideo.de today.
Very seldom are we graced by musical inspiration that touches our hearts by digging deep to unearth our protected glimpse of hope. Growing up Eritrean by way of Egypt, Italy and Germany, singer-songwriter FETSUM explores his inner most thoughts and feelings bestowing on us lyrics that pour delicately from his soul. ‘Urban Folk Music’ is what he coins it, but truth be told, his musical talents stretch far beyond any genre of music. Touching on Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Reggae and the lot, his ode to music is dynamic and rich with colorful expression.
Touching people with his lyrics, energy and importantly his message, Fetsum looks to stir the embodied element of hope in each and every one of us; One stroke of color at a time.
